Only 5% of Haitian children graduate from high school
You can help us help the children of Henche. Your donation of $400 per year covers tuition, books and a school uniform, plus a little left over to help meet the child's nutritional needs.
Unlike the United States, Haiti has no free schools and less than half of all Haitian families can afford to pay tuition. As a result, only 60% of Haitian children are able to attend primary school - and only 40% complete a primary education.
The result is widespread illiteracy and a tragic limiting of opportunity for millions of people.
One of the greatest gifts you can give a young person in Haiti is an education. For that reason, we have started a scholarship program at Sacre Coeur Parish in Hinche.
Sponsors will received a photo and the name of their sponsored child.
Please consider sponsoring a Haitian child's education!
