Serving the Community with Compassion

We are grateful to share a recent update from Plasir, the office manager, about the current operations and impact of the clinic in Hinche, Haiti—one of the core ministries supported by St. Monica’s Twinning Mission.

Clinic Operations

The clinic remains a vital lifeline to the community, currently operating five days a week (8 hours daily) with additional coverage on weekends for insulin injections provided by Andoux Fabiola. This ongoing effort ensures that even those managing chronic conditions like diabetes continue receiving care.

  • Patients Seen Monthly: Between 1,000 and 1,300 individuals
  • Full-Time Staff: 9 dedicated members
  • Weekend Coverage: Focused insulin delivery for diabetic patients

Looking Ahead

This clinic not only offers immediate medical support but also brings hope and stability to a region facing deep hardship. Your support helps sustain its mission. As we plan for upcoming campaigns such as “I Give Catholic” in December, we hope to expand visibility, resources, and access to care for those who need it most.

Let us continue to stand with our sisters and brothers in Hinche, bringing healing and hope through sustained, year-round partnership.
