A Gift of Healing
Giving the gift of a doctor a day is a meaningful way to remember or honor someone special in your life. With a suggested donation of $80.00, you can cover a doctor’s salary for a day. Father Faublas will commemorate your loved one or intention during the daily mass, and a notification card will be sent to you upon receipt of your donation.
Lifesaving Care at the Whitney Clinic
The doctor at the Whitney Clinic provides lifesaving medical care five days a week in Hinche, Haiti. Patients often walk up to thirty miles to receive treatment at this facility, which sees an average of 1100 patients per month. The clinic’s attendance numbers fluctuate due to the threat of gang violence. It’s important to note that many hospitals across Haiti have closed; the main hospital in Port-au-Prince has even been burned to the ground.

Despite these challenges, Father Faublas and the clinic staff maintain a high level of functioning, earning government awards for excellence and a reputation that surpasses the local hospital. Your donation ensures that the medical care provided at the Parish of Sacre Coeur continues to support the community effectively.

Donation envelopes are available in the church narthex or on the wall directly across from the parish office in the Religious Education building. You can place envelopes in the collection basket or turn them in at the parish office.
