As the Haiti Twinning Mission fiscal year, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, comes to a close, we would like to give an update on what we were able to do with your generous donations and prayers for the Parish of Sacre Coeur and the Whitney Medical Clinic in Hinche, Haiti.

 •    The Parish and the Medical Clinic were fully funded.  It takes approximately $170,000 to support annually.  This covers staff salaries, medical supplies and pharmacuticals , emergency needs, water, and maintenance.  The pharmacy bill ran $5,000 higher with increase in prices.  We were able to also cover that.

 •    It was brought to our attention that the internet needed at the Clinic was not adequate.  With our support they now have StarLink purchased and installed.

•    In 2025, Fr. Faublas asked for support toward purchasing transportation.  It has been determined that it is not safe at this time.  We will be informed if that should  change.

•    Father asked if we could help with replacing the roof on the cafeteria on the compound used by the staff.  This is now covered.

•    Father Faublas has a chapel under his jurisdiction, Quisqueya Notre Dame de l’Assumption in Hinche.  The chapel is used for Mass and sacraments for that community.  He is asking us to help rebuild the chapel as it is in rough shape and not safe.  We have been able to send funds to start phase one of the rebuild which entails the foundation, walls, roof.  The community has come together to help deliver materials free of charge and help with the building. As Father Faublas is often called “Bob the Builder” and is the architect and contractor of this chapel.

 •    Phase two of this building project will be for raising funds for our July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027 fiscal year.  That will include the windows, solar panels, lighting seating, alter and a wall to secure the property.  We hope to raise the money through the 2026 Gala and  I Give Catholic.   What a beautiful way to honor our Blessed Mother in Hinche.

Thank you again for your generous support.  The people of Haiti are so grateful. We are in their prayers.  We look forward to what we can all do in 2026/2027.  Please continue to pray for the beautiful people of Haiti.

May God Abundantly Bless Our Donors, Sponsors and Prayer Warriors.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for Haiti.
