Catholic Church of Saint Monica Haiti Parish Twinning Program

What's New?

- Join us for the 5th Annual Hope for Haiti Gala Friday,
October 28th at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place. This is our most
important fundraiser of the year. Enjoy a gourmet three-course dinner,
dancing to Atlanta's top party band,
The Rupert's
Orchestra and much more! Click the banner above for more
information or to register.
- Our
February Medical Mission to Hinche, Haiti was a huge
success. 24 team members, including doctors, nurses, dentists,
hygienists and support staff treated over 1,300 needy patients.

- The recent Haitian Seminarian Sponsorship Drive
raised over $23,000 to help the Haitian Seminary which was devastated in
the earthquake of January 2010. These desperately needed funds will go a
long way to provide food, housing and other necessities for the fifty
Hinche Diocesan seminarians. Visit our
Seminarian Sponsorship
Page for more information.
- St. Monica's responded generously to the cholera epidemic in
Haiti, enabling us to send 3,000 pounds of
life-saving rehydration solution and water treatment supplies to Haiti
on a donated aircraft. It is clear that the St. Monica's-sponsored
Klorfasil Safe
Water Project has helped to prevent a much
worse catastrophe in the Hinche area.
-
The Fourth Annual
Hope for Haiti Gala
was held on Friday, October 22 at the Atlanta
Gwinnett Place Marriott and was a great success. The event again featured
wonderful
food, spirits and dancing to
The Rupert's Orchestra.
Best of all, we set a new record
this year by raising $91,000 to support our mission in Haiti. Please
plan on joining us for our 5th annual Hope for Haiti Gala on
October 28th, 2011!
